AMD’s Ryzen 7 5800X has been mottled in a game benchmark where the purported chip gives an effective performance when compared to Intel’s Core i9 10900K.
The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X (codename “Vermeer” ) Zen 3 CPU has leaked out in the Ashes of the Singularity database. Those benchmarks have been described by TUM APISAK.
The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X is an 8 core, 16 threaded CPU, much like its predecessor Ryzen 7 3800X but the clock speeds haven’t been revealed till now.
When we compare the Ryzen 7 5800X with the intel core i9 the AMD Ryzen is higher than the intel core i9. The price of the AMD is also lesser than the Intel’s.
Core i9 – 10900K | Ryzen 7 5800X | PerformanceDifference | |
Averages | 114.8 | 133.6 | 16.4% |
Normal Batch | 136.3 | 166.6 | 22.2% |
Medium Batch | 118.6 | 135.3 | 14.1% |
Heavy Batch | 96.5 | 110.3 | 14.3% |
The comparison shows that the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X has a 16% higher performance than the Core i9 10900K in Ashes of the singularity.
The Intel Core i9 10900k has a 3.7 GHz base clock and a 5.3 GHz boost clock. There is no official news about the clock speed of the Ryzen 7 5800X but some of the rumors suggest that the Ryzen 7 5800X has 5 GHz.
The Ryzen 7 5800X comes with the Zen 3 microarchitecture and with TSMC’s 7nm FinFET process node which makes Vermeer as the best competitor for Intel i9.
More official information about the Ryzen 7 5800X will be expected at the Zen 3 keynote release conference on October 8 at 10 am PT.
