Dr. Lisa Su, the CEO of AMD, has announced yesterday the world’s best gaming processor arrives on November 5, the Ryzen 5000 series has four parts and supports up to 16 cores.
The interesting feature in the Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 series is its core design and the Zen 3 microarchitecture.
Zen3 Ryzen 5000 has hopefully 19% raw increase in performance-per-clock and a very important feature is that it is socket-compatible with existing 500 series motherboards. AMD RYZEN 5000 PROCESSORS

Features of AMD Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 Series :
It comes with 1080p gaming performance leadership.
The Zen 3 microarchitecture delivers 19% IPC improvement.
24 % gen-on-gen power efficiency improvement – 2.8X better than 10900K.
It has the same 7nm process as Ryzen XT models.
The lower base frequency for all models, offset by increased IPC.
Higher peak frequencies for most models 4.9 GHz on Ryzen 9 5950X.
L3 cache unified in a single 32MB cluster for each eight-core chipset (CCD).
Drop-in compatible with the AM4 socket.
No bundled cooler with Ryzen 9 and Ryzen 7 models.
No new chipset/motherboards launched.
All Zen 3 desktop, mobile, and APU chips will carry Ryzen 5000 branding.
Same 12nm GlobalFoundries I/O Die (IOD).
Same 142W maximum power for AM4 socket as previous-gen.
Current-gen 500-series motherboards work now.
Beta support for 400-series motherboards begins in January 2021.
AMD achieved that the 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X itself boasts “the highest single-thread performance of any desktop gaming processor” as well as the “most multicore performance of any desktop gaming processor”, which are the statements said in the yesterday event.
Intel is already working seriously on its new 11th gen Rocket Lake CPU’s, which are arriving in early 2021. The Rocket Lake CPUs will be 14-nanometer chips with different core architecture.
The CPU companies are competing with one another and the result of the best CPU which will beat the other will be revealed soon most of the gamers are really waiting for the AMD Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 series.
